HUMAN PHYSIOTHERAPY AND RIDER ASSESSMENTS

With experience working in the NHS as a Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapist, Amy is able to put her skills she has learned over the years to provide high quality human physiotherapy.

Due to further courses and training, Amy is competent to perform rider assessments, assessing riders on and off their horses and treating them on site . Every rider will come away with constructive feedback which will improve their symmetry and therefore their horses symmetry and performance.

Rider assessments include;

  • assessing you riding your horse, identifying any asymmetries/compensations that are present

  • treating you off your horse

  • watching you ride your horse again to identify the improvements

  • providing you with advice and exercises which will enable you to continue this improvement into the future
